If Jason Sullivan thought the TV makeovers were full-on, well, let's just say real living put him through his paces: a revamp in just one day! One lucky reader, Kate Pulsford, got to see her Bondi home in a completely new light. Gone went the hand-me-down pieces of furniture, and in came sophisticated retro styling. We're loving... September 2009

It's hard to believe that the September issue is already on sale today. It feels like we've barely sent it to the printers. But it's good to be kept on our toes. It creates a great energy and buzz in the office. Although, I have to laugh because trying to get the team downstairs to the photographics studios for a group shot was a very slooow process: everyone got camera shy all of a sudden. But I just wanted to say thanks for all their continued hard work and enthusiasm, creating another bumper issue at break-neck speed. Hope you enjoy the issue. Mag extras: How to decorate exposed brick

A reader wrote in one day lamenting her brick wall. What should she do: paint over it, render or run for the hills??? "Stop!" we said. "Don't do a thing. Brick walls are a great feature to have in your home. It gives the place warmth and character." Plus, anything industrial (and, yes, New York loft style) is hot right now. So we commissioned a feature on how to make a brick wall look great in your home. And for the location we found a house that had done this successfully. We're loving... August '09

I know, I know, I know. It's been too long since I last blogged. But we've been super busy putting together the new-look real living. So, I hope you understand.

Here are some of our fave spreads from the August issue. It's such a bumper-packed issue, I'm still amazed how we managed to pull it all together in time. But it was a lot of fun, and we're all excited with the finished mag. As always, love to know what you think!
